Introduction to the nRF21540 RF FEM for range extension
The nRF21540 RF front-end module (FEM) provides range extension and link robustness improvements to Nordic's nRF52 Series and nRF53 Series SoCs. It supports Bluetooth® Low Energy, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, Zigbee and 2.4 GHz proprietary protocols. In this recording, the product manager for the nRF21540, Pål Kastnes, talks more about the nRF21540 RF FEM and how the nRF21540 Development Bundle (DB) kickstarts development with the nRF21540 RF FEM.
Agenda:
00:00 Introduction
03:21 nRF21540 RF FEM Highlights and Applications
08:49 nRF21540 Technical Overview
14:42 nRF21540 Development Bundle Overview
18:47 Benefits of nRF21540
22:00 nRF21540 Link Budgets with different Nordic SoCs
